Our principal organised a program for the commemoration of  Saraswati Puja the last Saturday, at 9:00 hours.

All the teachers, staff and students were cordially invited to attend this program. The school campus was beautifully decorated with traditionally made Bandhanwars using marigolds, lotuses, mango leaves and bells.

The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Smt. Smita Desai, Divisional Railway Manager by lighting a lamp in front of goddess Saraswati’s idol.  Students of elementary classes sang Saraswati Vandana in chorus.

All the teachers, staff and students came together to worship goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, Art and Music. Smt. Chitralekha Patra conducted the Aarti.

The fragrance of flowers, the aroma of the burning camphor in lamps and the bright paper designs fluttering under the blue skies filled the school environment with peace and positivity.

The program was further executed by conducting various cultural programs. An instrumental tribute was offered by students of secondary classes. A Sloka recitation ceremony was also conducted for the students. The program came to an end with an awards and certificates distribution ceremony to participants. Sweets were distributed among them as well.

CELEBRATION OF SARASWATI PUJA IN OUR SCHOOL

The students from classes I to XII, faculties of the school and all other staff gathered to celebrate the Saraswati Puja ceremony, on Friday in the school premises.

The school was beautifully embellished using colourful flowers, bright papers and candles. Devotional songs were being played. Senior girl students decorated the stage with a very vibrant Rangoli.

The members of the local Utsav Club coordinated with the student council and staff of the school, under the guidance of Principal S. K. Roy to make this program a success. The ritual was graced with the presence of Mr Mohit Singh, District Education Officer, as the chief guest.

At 9:00 hours, all the guests, teachers, staff and students united together to worship goddess Saraswati with great devotion. After the Puspanjali, Prasad was distributed among all the people present. The program was compiled by a group song performed by the students of the school.

Primary students enacted a small skit signifying the importance of knowledge in life. The program was brought to a conclusion by the closing speech delivered by the Chief Guest.

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION IN LITTLE FLOWER PRESCHOOL

The auspicious ceremony of Saraswati Puja was celebrated on the school premises on February 12, 2020, with great fervour and devotion. All the teachers and little students gathered together at the school premises to offer Puja to Goddess Saraswati.

The campus was beautifully decorated for this occation. The ambience of the school environment was transcended by the beautiful rendition of students. The prasad was distributed among all the members after the puja. Then the scintillating dance performances by little students dressed beautifully in bright, vibrant costumes was the main focus of the cultural program took place after the puja.

The program was followed by a wide range of cultural celebrations. Both teachers, as well as students, participated in cultural events so as to fulfil their aim to celebrate traditions of the Indian culture by imbibing values and ethics among students.

This commemoration bought recreation, refreshment, entertainment and fun all together. The program came to an end by conducting a grand community lunch. 

This celebration left an indelible impression in the minds and hearts of all those who participated in this program.

Puja of Maa Saraswati, Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom, was taken place on 11th February 2020 in DAV Public School, Pokhariput. Both the students as well as teachers coordinated and made all arrangements for the Puja.

The school gardens were cleaned and various new trees were planted, walls and verandahs were embellished beautifully with colourful papers. The stage was decorated with flowers and candles. The aroma of burning camphor filled the atmosphere with spirituality and fidelity. All the students, teachers, faculties and many local people were invited on this occasion.

All the rituals were performed with great fervour. The Puja was followed by other rituals such as Puspanjali, Nam Kirtan and Bhajan Samaroh. All the students and teachers were asked and encouraged to perform on stage for celebrating the aesthetic and cultural values of our country.

The program bought refreshment, positivity and a sense of unity among all the members of the school. The lunch was prepared by the school authorities. Everyone had a hearty meal after the cultural program.

In the evening, a Hawan was arranged and the Visarjan of Goddess Saraswati were conducted by the students.
