A COLLEGE LEVEL FOOTBALL MATCH

Kolkata; 12 August 2022: An exciting football match between the students of The Bhawanipur Society Education college and St. Thomas Scottish Church college took place in the college on the ground of the Scottish Church College.
In the match, the Bhawanipur students defeated their opponents by 2 goals. The match was quite intense and nobody scored till 90 mins. After extra-time two goals were scored by the BES college. With this win, Bhawanipur College consistently secured the top position in the city.
The exhilarating match was attended by the local Member of Parliament, Shri S.K. Patsani as the Guest of Honour for the event. Distinguished guests, elite guardians, and all the students of both colleges were cordially invited to the event.
The match was full of excitement and curiosity. Both the teams tried their best to win. Both the college teams were equally strong and showed excellent skill and performance.
Shouvik Majumdar was “Man of the Match” as he individually kicked those two goals against Nitish, the opponent‘s goalkeeper.
At the end of the event, the chief guest delivered a speech signifying the importance of arranging tournaments in the college. He encouraged the students for their laudable performances and felicitated the trophies.

STATE-LEVEL FOOTBALL MATCH

Allahabad; 12 August 2020: An exciting football match took place yesterday at Railway Stadium, Allahabad between the football teams of East Coast Railway, Odisha and North-Eastern Railway, Assam. The match engaged the audience with utmost excitement and curiosity. East Coast won the match over North Eastern Frontier by an amazing margin of 3 goals. At the end of the match, the scoreline was 4-1.
The match commenced at 3.00 p.m. as soon as the referee and the players entered the field. All of the participants were filled with great spirit and enthusiasm. The spectators from all sides of the area cheered for the players. Within a few seconds, excitement spread out among the spectators as attacks and counterattacks were offered by both the opponents at every moment.
The first half came to a close with no goal. At the beginning of the second half, both teams grew furious. There was wild excitement on both sides.
But, perhaps, it was the day of Team Odisha, as Sudhesh, the team captain constantly kicked two goals against Assamese goalkeeper, Vaibhav, Nitin, another member from Team Odisha entered into the match with great passion and became the “Man of the Match” for his excellent gameplay. Awards and trophies were felicitated among the players.

STUDENTS’ FOOTBALL MATCH IN TOWN

12 August 2022, Faridabad: To celebrate the Fit India School Week, an Inter-School Football match was organised on the 9th of August 2022 between Army Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Faridkot. Students from classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically in this match.
The match was planned under the guidance of Amandeep Kaur, principal of APS school for this event. The match commenced at the sports complex of Army Public School at 10:00 hours.
Students, teachers and various staff members from both schools witnessed the program with thunders of applause and cheers to motivate both the respective teams. The first half of the match was quite lifeless as both the teams were well balancing their performance. The match drove exhilaration as the APS Team scored a consistent 3-0 against KV Team.
Many other sports activities and events were also being organised in different areas of the school. A wide array of sweets, snacks and beverages were served to the local audience for their refreshment as well as nourishment. Captain Ritwik Chatterjee, APS Team was awarded as the “Man of the Match”. All the players were felicitated with awards, certificates and blessings from all the dignitaries.

INTERSCHOOL FOOTBALL MATCH

12 August 2020, Karapakkam: The Sarladevi International School, Karapakkam hosted the first Inter-School Football Tournament for the session 2019-2020 in a grand manner to develop Harmony and a Healthy sporting environment among the other Sister Schools in Guntur, Madurai and Karapakkam from 9th August to 12th August.
The tournament was graced by the Joint Director, Dean of Academics, School Principals and many other dignitaries. The Chief Guest addressed the players and inspired them. The Dean Academics kicked the ball to commence the Tournament.
The first match was between the schools of Guntur and Madurai, where the former team won the match by 10 goals to 02. The second-day Karapakkam team won against Madurai Team and won by 05 -03. The third and final match was between teams from Karapakkam and Guntur Campuses.
The Karapakkam team became the Football Champions by beating Guntur Team with a score of 12-01. The teams were awarded trophies and medals. The Best Player of the Tournament went to Master Abhishek, Guntur. The event was a grand success by the combined sincere efforts made altogether by the students, teachers and support staff.
