Dear Maa,
In the last letter, you asked me about the new friends I made in this boarding school. In this letter, I want to tell you about them.
After starting to attend my classes I met many students in the school. But all of them didn’t become my friends. I became friends with 5 of my fellow students. They are Sheetal, Kangna, Lara, Debjani, and Jayanti. Among them, Lara is my roommate. Two of us spend the entire day together. Debjni and Kangna stay in an adjacent room to ours. We go to school together, eat together, study together and play together as well. Recently Kangna’s mother visited our boarding school. Kangna introduced all of us to her mother. Her mother is an amazing lady. She didn’t only appreciate our friendship but also gave us chocolate. Most importantly, group study has become very easier due to our group. Our class teacher miss Minakshi ma’am also appreciated our friendship.
So, I would like to request you to please visit our boarding once. I want to introduce my friends to you. They will be very happy to meet you.

It’s been months that I haven’t received a letter from you. How are you doing nowadays? Is everything alright? How is your health? You know, I have recently made a very good friend in my boarding school. Through this letter, I want to tell you about him.
I am talking about Somnath. I didn’t even know him before starting to attend my 9th-grade classes. He used to study in another section. But after coming to the same section, I have become friends with him since the very first day. He is such a good guy. Though he stays 27 blocks away from my room, we go to the class together. Throughout school time we sit, play, and study together. Somnath is fond of music, like me. He loves to play the guitar. His father is a doctor practising in Lucknow. Dear Mummy,
I have just finished reading the last letter you wrote to me. There you asked me about the new friends I met in my new boarding school. In this letter, I want to let you know about my experience with my new friends in the boarding school.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to make close friends till now in the boarding school. As you know that I am a little bit introverted and can’t open up to everyone, people hardly come to talk to me. To be honest, I also have never approached anyone to be friends with me. Currently, my only friend here is Hitesh. He is my roommate. Though he is in another section, he became quite a good friend of mine. I only talk and spend my leisure time with him.
But it doesn’t mean that anyone else isn’t friendly. Everybody here along with all the students teaches as well as all the staff are quite helpful and co-operative. I think it’ll take a little bit more time for me to make new friends.

You know, I recently made a new friend in my boarding school. You would be surprised to know that it is a dog I’m talking about. This dog lives in our school compound and I used to feed him every now and then. Recently, during the sports event, I had a little fight with some of my fellow classmates.
