Dear Koustav,
I have just finished the last letter you wrote to me. There you have let me know that your school has opted for an online mode of education due to the lockdown imposed because of the global pandemic. The situation is the same for me as well. Through this letter, I want to share my experience with this online mode of education with you.
A few months back, when the lockdown was imposed, our school got closed for an indefinite period. After around a month, we got a notice from our school that classes are going to be continued via the online mode of education. For me, the online classes are a mixture of good and bitter experiences. I really feel good to get back to my schedule and studying. Through the online mode, our teachers often make the topic easier to understand through digital presentations. And most importantly, I do not have to go anywhere to attend my school.
But, I really miss meeting my friends physically. And, I also feel the lack of one-to-one interaction with the teachers.
Your dear friend,
Ajit

Dear Adrija,
It’s been a long time that I haven’t received any letters from you. How are you doing nowadays? You know, recently I started attending an online coaching class. It’s a unique experience I am having with this mode of education. I am writing you this letter today, to share my experience with you.
I have started attending this coaching for my upcoming career program. To study here, I had to sign up in their online admission portal and after registering, our classes started via online mode. I was provided account credentials through an email. Many reputed teachers of the country teach us in our classes. Their teaching approach is so good that I have become a fan of their approaches. Moreover, their beautiful digital presentation makes various topics easier to understand. Besides, every weekend, we have a virtual seminar attended by many eminent personalities. Through this online portal, we can also connect with many other students. It creates an opportunity for effective group discussion.
For me, opting for this online coaching class was the best decision I have ever taken in my life. What’s your thought on this? Let me know in your next letter.

Dear Arijit,
In the last letter, you have mentioned that your school is being continued via online mode. My situation is quite the same too due to this lockdown imposed because of the global pandemic. But I am facing several issues with the online classes. Today, through this letter, I want to share my experience with online classes with you.
After months of staying closed, our school published a notification to conduct online classes. Within a month of that notification, the online classes have started taking place. But I didn’t have all the necessary gadgets to attend those classes. That’s why I had to buy a smartphone. Because of this, I missed a few initial classes at the school. But despite buying a smartphone, I am facing several issues while attending these online classes. Online classes via video meetings require high-speed internet connectivity. But as I live in a small town, the internet speed is way much slower. Thus, I often get disconnected while attending online classes.
Can you please suggest something to resolve this issue I am facing? Please let me know in your next letter.
Your best friend,
Altaf Hossein

Dear Aritra,
I have just finished reading the last letter you wrote to me. There you have asked for my opinion regarding the potential and future of online mode of education. Through this letter, I want to share my opinion regarding that context with you.
For the last few years, the online mode of education has become one of the most popular methods for almost all kinds of education. The online education system was under debatable circumstances for a long time. But the global pandemic gave a huge boost to this mode. I also had to opt for online education due to this pandemic and the eventual lockdowns. I had mixed experiences with the online classes. On one hand, I enjoy distance home learning and digital presentation, and on the other hand, I miss my friends and one-to-one interaction with the teachers.
I think the online mode of education has a great future ahead. But in my opinion, it will exist parallelly with the traditional education system instead of replacing that.
Best wishes and regards,
Sangita
