Sir,
Everywhere around the world, schools are meant to be peaceful. But recently our school area is witnessing a gradual worsening of law and order around the adjacent locality. This letter to you is intended to explain this issue and to look for some definite permanent solution.
It’s about the reputed Nabinpally GIrls’ High School that is witnessing worse law and order situations around the locality. As a student of class XI, it’s being very hard for us to attend school and peacefully continue our studies. It’s about six months, some hooligans create an artificial crowd in front of the school and tease us now and then. Some of them are even armed with weapons like daggers and local knives. Recently, they even tried to physically harass a student of class IX. She is still quite traumatised due to the incident and going under psychological counselling. Several police complaints have been launched both from the school authority and the parents of the student. But it seems that small scale police action can hardly affect these hooligans.
So, through the column of your esteemed daily, I want to request to the government, especially our honourable chief minister to look into this issue and take strict action against them to ensure our safety.

Sir,
Peace and stability is the utmost priority of any person’s social life. But we the people of the Bablapur area is recently witnessing a worse law and order situation that is severely affecting the peace and stability of our day-to-day social life. Through the column of your esteemed daily, I want to draw the attention of the higher authority on this issue and seek a permanent solution and social safety.
It’s almost a week that the law and order situation is worsening in our locality due to severe political violence. As per our knowledge, violence is being occurred between two groups of the same party. No matter whether it’s day or night, we are often listening to shouting, the sound of gunfires and the explosion of hand bombs. Recently a person was even killed on the street due to the violence. We are quite much feared to get out of our houses. The local police station was informed multiple times, but they are seemed to be quite inactive regarding this issue of political violence.
So, through this letter, I want to earnestly request the higher authority to take immediate action whatever necessary in order to put a permanent end to this violence and secure our social safety.

Sir,
Post-election violence is not a new phenomenon in our state. But after the recent election, this phenomenon has reached a new level. Probably, for the first time, our locality is witnessing severe instances of post-poll violence. I’m writing this letter to your esteemed daily to appeal to the higher authority to take strict action to control the law and order situation.
Our area is generally quite peaceful and stable. Political violence, worse law and order hardly touch our locality. But this time, after the election, the situation got different. Since the day the election results were declared, some outsider people to our area is continuously targeting some specific houses of the opposition party supporters. They are continuously being threatened to abandon their political ideology otherwise will be killed or displaced from their houses. One old man has recently got beaten by a few hooligans when he went to the market.
So, through this letter, I want to voice my opinion that ideological opposition is very much necessary for a successful democracy. Our government must come forward to ensure the fundamental right to life and personal liberty of the affected people and secure their safety.

Sir,
Our state has witnessed extensive instances of post-poll violence after the recent election. The government has finally imposed section 144 in many affected areas to control the law and order situation. This letter to your esteemed daily intends to evaluate the step of the government regarding this issue.
Yesterday, the honourable police minister of our state Mrs Sobha Bagchi has announced to impose section 144 in 27 areas of our state to control the law and order situation. After the last election, our state has witnessed several incidents of murders, tortures as well as displacement from houses of many opposition party workers and supporters. After the commencement of section 144, the honourable chief minister has declared that no hooliganism will be spared from now on. But the primary concern is, why the state government took this long to take strict action against this hooliganism. The state might not have needed the imposition of section 144 if the local police authorities have taken necessary action to mitigate the violence.
However, better late than never, the government has finally woken up to stabilize the law and order. Hopefully, the imposition of section 144 will be able to mitigate the violence and bring back the displaced residents to their houses and ensure their safety and security.
