This year we were able to collect a good amount of token money from all the students to buy the decor items and food for our teachers. On 5th September, like previous years we organized a program for our respected teachers. This year almost each student participated in the event. We bought a huge cake for our teachers showing our gratitude to them for their relentless efforts to make us better students.
I personally drew a card and gave it to our class teacher. Mrs. Mehta was very happy to receive the card. We decorated each classroom with pretty flowers and papercraft. The students of class XII who will be leaving school very soon presented a play for everyone. It was an amazing play. A debate session was held by the senior students of our school. The program went on for almost two hours. Our principal madam gave a heartwarming speech about her attachment to the school and its students. We all were teary as this is the retirement year for our principal. We presented a book to her as a parting gift from the students. We had also organized lunch for all the teachers. Everyone was very pleased.
