Your letter is just in my hand. We seriously missed you on our last picnic trip.
We decided to visit Parshuram Kund, a sacred site situated within the Kamlang Forest Reserve area. At around 9:30 am, we started trekking and there, at last, stood the Kund in a river in all its glory.
Legend has it that Parshuram, the 6th avatar of Vishnu, could only get rid of the sin of matricide after taking a dip in the river. Hence, people flock here to take a holy dip to get rid of their sins.
After some more sightseeing, it was time to pack up and head back home.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Give my regards to your family.
