How are you doing? I hope you’re doing okay. My winter vacation has just ended, and I’d like to tell you about the great time I had with my family in Shimla, a hill station in northern India. I enjoyed a lot there with my family. We had gone there to see the season’s first snowfall. Despite the many layers of woollens I wore, I couldn’t feel my hands or feet because it was so cold.
We used to go to Lakar bazaar for trinkets and to the Mall for shopping on a regular basis, and we used to enjoy hot steaming coffee and snacks. It was all so enjoyable that I didn’t want to return home. We also took a lot of pictures. When you come here, I’ll show you.

In addition, I learned to fish with my grandfather. I loved floating around in a boat, swimming in the river, and assisting my grandparents. There, I made a few friends as well.

I hope everything is going well for you and your studies. Last week, I got your letter asking me about my winter break. This winter, I visited Manali. I went with my dad, but I wished you might have been there as well. On our first day in Manali, we went to mall road and bought a lot of stuff.
The next day we went to Solang Valley, where it was snowing. Playing in the snow was much too enjoyable. Finally, on the last day, we went to Rohtang Pass, which was an exciting day. This is a trip I can never forget. It was fulfilling, and I will remember this journey for the rest of my life.

Dear friend,
Hope you are well. I am good too and really excited to share about my trip to Tosh and Kasol, this winter. I went there with my cousins. It was a 5 days trip. We went to Tosh first and there we all went for the Kheerganga Trek. I was very scared at first but when I saw the view up from the mountain, it was all worth it.
We stayed in Tosh for 2 days. Then we started for Kasol. In Kasol we tried authentic Tibet Cuisine. We played badminton in the streets and in night we enjoyed a bonfire with hot chocolate and Maggi. It wasn’t snowing this time but I have decided to go there again and watch the snowfall. I hope you enjoyed your winter vacation too. I would like to go there with you next winter.
