Subject: Unattended garbage is creating problems on the streets

Sir,

I am a resident of the Nabinpally area from ward number 12. Today I’m writing this letter to bring under your kind concern that we’re facing severe problem due to scattered unattended garbage in our locality.

We have around 3 garbage bins in our area. As around 200 families live in this ward, the number of garbage bins are quite insufficient in the first place. We have previously requested the KMC to install at least 10 more garbage bins in our area. But our request got no response. Moreover, since the last few months, regular cleaning of those garbage bins have been stopped. As a result, the adjacent streets stay full of garbages scattered here and there. We have to face and dodge them while walking down the streets. Recently, I accidentally slipped and fell down on the street due to those scattered garbages.

So, it’s my earnest request to you to clean the garbage bins regularly and ensure us a healthy life.

Yours Sincerely,
Rajesh Dutta

The Commissioner

Subject: Unattended garbages creating tremendous problems

Sir,

I am a resident of Ghola, from ward no. 14 writing this letter to you today as we are facing tremendous problems in our locality due to unattended garbages.

Garbage cleaning in our locality is very much infrequent and due to that all the garbage bins always stay full around this area. In the last two weeks, our garbage bins have not been cleared even once. We have tried to call the municipality in this regard, but nobody responded to our phone call. As currently the monsoon season is going and the garbage bins are overflowing, all the scattered garbages are going inside the drains and blocking the waterways. This is resulting in major rainwater stagnation in our area. Even with the stagnant water some of those garbages are entering our houses.
