In recent years, the population of tigers has greatly declined because of deforestation, loss of habitat, poaching, illegal wildlife trade as well as increased contact with humans. The loss of habitat and scarcity of food forces the tigers living in forests to venture out into the villages surrounding the forests which in turn poses a threat to the humans. This leads to the tigers being killed.
The population of tigers has declined to such an extent that now, tigers are globally listed as an “endangered” species. We humans don’t own this planet. Earth is home to millions of animals, plants and other organisations and it is our duty to make sure that those living beings don’t suffer because of our own selfish needs.

This is due to various reasons such as deforestation, which leads to the loss of their habitat, scarcity of food, poaching, illegal wildlife trade as well as increased contact with humans, ultimately leading to the tigers being killed.

A large number of people do not care about environmental and ecological issues and so, these issues are not talked about as much. But it is time for all of us to understand that we do not own this planet.
