In our school, water used to be supplied through a dedicated pipeline directly from the Tala water facility. For containing around 1400 students and 100 teachers and non-teaching staff, the water consumption of our school is quite high compared to other institutions.
But recently as a bridge is being constructed and the dedicated supply line got somewhat damaged due to the construction work, an alternative line has been established by the corporation. But through that alternative line, the water supply in our school is not as regular and adequate as required. Moreover, the water we get through that supply line is often cloudy and even muddy sometimes.

I live in 55C Nabin Maira Road, Uttarpara, and today writing this letter to you to express my concern over a sanitation problem we are facing in our local due to inadequate garbage bins.
In our locality, we have only 3 dedicated garbage bins installed from the municipality. But the overall population of our area is more than 2000. Compared to the population, the number of garbage bins is not adequate at all. Moreover, there’s no regular garbage collection from the municipality as well.
As a result, we often have to witness the garage bins overflowing. Those garbages make our streets dirty, block the sewage, and most importantly in monsoon season, enter our house with the dirty sewage water. Due to the lack of proper management of those garbage bins, we have to live in miserable conditions. Waste products like sanitary napkins, dressing bandages, etc are primary among those garbages.
